JET LAG

I'm being driven crazy by jetlag after coming home from LA a week ago (8 hours behind UK). Last week I felt like I'd been hit by a bag of wet sand and whilst that has gone, I'm waking before 4am every day and falling asleep on my feet by 9pm. My body clock just refuses to go back to normal. Any ideas for a surefire cure? I've never been like this before.

Dh says it takes a day an hour and nothing but time will cure it. Me, I never get to leave the county

I dont have a cure, but felt awful when we went a few years ago, swore I would never go to USA again!! Took me two weeks to feel better. Hope you feel better soon.

You never know what the future holds, hmb. 10 yrs ago I wouldn't have dreamt I'd be doing this much foreign travel and tbh, I'd much rather I didn't have to. It's a b*mmer to have to go 6,000 miles to see ds1!

Two weeks, Bluesky? Eek!! I'm about to keel over right now but mustn't give in until later on. Matters won't be helped by a man coming at 8pm tonight to discuss insurance.....zzzzzzzzzz.

Could you take a nap in the afternoon (a nice long one) then a sleeping pill at the correct time? Not tonight, obviously... Hope the insurance guy was really interesting and gave you lots of energy! hee hee

JJ. The insurance man did the trick(!) and bored me to sleep. I woke up at 4am but thought about insurance and managed to get back to sleep again, hurrah!

Excellent! He should hire himself out to insomniacs, maybe?
