Renew child and adult passport at same time

I’ve submitted a renewal application for my DD and have realised that my passport needs renewing - including a name change. Will this cause an issue to send mine off for renewal at the same time? Worried because with a child’s renewal you have to put in the parent’s passport number - but if I renew, my passport number will change. This must happen all the time though! Thanks L
