Hotel similar to Watergate Bay in Europe?

We love the Watergate Bay hotel in Cornwall because it's brilliantly set-up for families, but feels lovely for adults too. Premium, chilled out vibe.
Looking for something similarly family friendly in Europe, in a pretty region near a beach. We don't like large complexes. Any suggestions?
