Holidays in Sept / Oct with a 3 year old and 8 month old

Hi, looking for ideas for a weeks holiday at the end of sept / early October when we’ll be travelling with a 3.5 year old and 8 month old baby.
We are thinking somewhere where it’ll still be warm (not too warm), not to far and a hotel with kids pools (preferably heated at that time of year I guess), kids club / entertainment for the 3 year old, apartment style rooms with two bedrooms (or two adjoining rooms). Probably all inclusive but not necessarily.
Budget maybe up to about £2k (some flex on that) and ideally 4* or more.
Have looked at various travel websites and the choice is overwhelming so ideally looking for specific hotel or resort recommendations that fit the criteria above.

We went to Menorca last September. DS was 3 and DD was 7mths. This was perfect, short flight, lovely warm weather, kids entertainment (low key) all inclusive and apartment accommodation.

We're thinking of Lanzarote in September, DS is 3, pre DC we did quite active and adventurous holidays, but got a cheap deal to Lanzarote once, it was actually quite nice, driving is really easy and safe and there are things to see and do, were thinking of going back because DS would love the volcano and it would be a quiet relaxing sunny holiday.
We've stayed in playa blanca before but I think there are other family friendly areas

We've done Cyprus twice in Oct with DD at 6 months and 18 months last June DS arrived and we did Majorca with them both in Oct. Cyprus was much warmer and therefore made going in the pool a far more pleasant experience so we're going back there again in a fortnight.

@MaryShelley1818 @RewildingAmbridge @TheArtfulScreamer1 thanks for your ideas. Do you mind if I ask which hotels you stayed in and whether you’d specifically recommend them? What I’m finding most frustrating is an inability to search for a specific room type (2 bedroom apartment or interconnecting rooms) so I’m having to filter through loads of options that turn out not to be suitable.

I've always struggled to find a two bed apartment to and now I give it up as a bad job (when booking a package deal) and just book a one bed however I've stayed at Helios Bay and Elysia Park in Paphos and both have 2 bed apartments they are both nice (particularly the Elysia Park) but just not quite in the right location for me.
