Dubai hotel recommendations

Has anyone been to Dubai recently. If so please can you let me have hotel recommendations for the Jumeira Beach area. I would rather stay where we can walk/ travel to shops etc. Many thanks.

Hilton Dubai Jumeirah is near shops and restaurants and you can walk from there to the Ain Dubai wheel and its shopping plaza.
Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach is another possible option.
If you want to travel from there to the Dubai Mall and or Mall of the Emirates you will need to take the metro.
There is now another separate local metro line that runs to the Jumeirah Beach area.

@DubaicreekResort many thanks for taking time to reply. We will be staying at the One&Only Royal Mirage. I know little about the hotel but it has good reviews on Tripadvisor.

That's a lovely hotel, we really like it there and have been visiting for years.
Hope you have a wonderful holiday.

We love dar al Masyaf at the madinat. Highly recommend the half board as you can eat at any of the hotels in the whole jumeirah group.

Sorry the whole thread didn't load. We've stayed at the one & only. Really lovely - try and get a ground floor suite - they open straight down to the beach.
