Hoping to take my husband away for a long weekend (without kids!) for his 40th this June/July (would avoid school holidays).
He is golf mad so looking to stay somewhere with excellent golf onsite, spa and pool for me (if there’s a 9 hole golf course I can play with him, extra bonus). Somewhere with lovely rooms, restaurants and bars onsite. If near beach/town with things going on that’s good but also happy to be more rural. Main thing is quality of resort/hotel.
Want nice weather, short flight and short airport transfer so thinking Spain or Portugal.
