Best places to visit in north-west Italy?

I’m planning a few days in north-west Italy this summer, driving from the French Alps and round to Nice, and am wondering where to stop en route. Does anyone have any recommendations for must-see places in that corner of Italy?

Aosta is lovely as is Cogne. You can take a cable car to Chamois, there are no cars there, great views of Monte Cervino.
