Help!

We travel in 3 days and today I've realised the one thing I haven't done is change my NHS record to my married name

My covid passport is in my maiden name and passport married

I obviously plan to immediately call my gp tommorrow but does anyone know if they accept marriage certificates if not?

Thank you so much in advance

I had exactly the same a few weeks ago. I asked my GP to change my surname, which they did whilst I was still on the phone. The app updated the next day and I was able to get a new covid passport in the maiden name.

It’s not a problem. I travel regularly . nhs pass is in married name, passport maiden name. Address and D of B obviously the name. No one has batted an eyelid

Thanks! That makes me feel better I'm feeling super anxious because I've just realised my error!

I'm travelling via easy jet to Europe so will also call them in the morning

We flew into Ibiza last Saturday and the staff who checked the covid pass didn't look at our passports, and vice versa. So I think you'd be fine, as the two were not compared. Hope that helps

Have been trying to reply all day but the site wouldn't let me! Drs changed my name first thing this morning and the app updated 30 minutes later 😀
