Cheapest place for holiday one week in August?

Doesn’t have to be beach. 4 of us DDs 15&20 - like something off the beaten track and peaceful. Any ideas?

Mountain village north of Malaga/south of Grenada in Spain? Car hire will ad to the cost but you can get good value accommodation and the tapas bars throw in tapas with each round of drinks!

Anywhere less popular with families really, try Germany perhaps, gites in france away from tourist hotspots, for packages £1500 to Spain b&b I found, or £1700 to Greece. Driving is cheaper than flying of course

We stayed in one of the apartments there a few years ago (not that one). The village is beautiful!

Yes, Malaga is fantastic.
Munich - fly and rent a cabin in the black forest.
Picardie - ferry and Eurocamp.
