Travel to Ibiza - what forms and proof? Desperado for a holiday

Hi all

Travel to Ibiza in two weeks. I’m a bit anxious that the computer will say NO due to not realising we should have completed some form or proof of something that I didn’t know existed…it all seems more complicated these days.

I’ve sorted the nhs Covid pass thing and downloaded that to my Apple wallet and I have a pdf to print out. Is that it? Or is there something else I need to do? Do we definitely not have to pay for pcrs or anything like that atm?

I know there is a form I need to complete for the family 48 hours before. Is that the health form?

Is there anything else I should do?

My kids are all under 12 so I don’t think I need to do anything extra for them..:

Thanks in advance x

If the adults are vaccinated and the children are under 12, that’s literally it. You just need your vaccine NHS passes.

The SpTH form that you used to complete 48 hours before travel isn’t required anymore, as long as everybody is fully vaccinated (2 doses less than 270 days ago, or booster) or younger than 12. So that’s one thing less.

Don’t get too stressed and remember that even if you were to forget some form (which you aren’t!) for Spain you’d be able to sort it last minute at the airport or upon landing if necessary. I’ve taken dozens of flights since last year, and there are always people in the queues filling in forms on their phones, or the paper ones they have upon landing as a back up. Not once have I seen someone being left at the gate and denied boarding.

Enjoy your holiday!

Ah thank you so much that’s so nice of you :)

I remember doing my esta forms for Florida a few years ago and triple checking it all. Checked in abs the lady on the check out was like nope sorry you didn’t complete your form you won’t be able to check in and I thank god had printed a copy as proof and showed her abs then she went back to the system abs it was magically there. I get really stressed about travelling now 😆

My husband and I have literally downloaded the pass to Apple wallet abs have a print out. That’s all we do with it? If so brill I thought we had to put the details into some complicated online form - wahoo :) x

I’m pretty sure you DO still need to do the health form 48 hours before travelling. I had to when I travelled last week.

Details are here: www.spth.gob.es/

The rules changed a few days ago. I have attached a screenshot as I’ve just gone on the app and filled in the first part of the form which tells you whether you need one or not. If you have a valid vaccine pass, there is no need to complete the form anymore.

We are in ibiza right now having a lovely time. We did have to do the forms but glad to see its changed now. Mask wearing inside still compulsory but not outside or by the pool etc. Enjoy.
