Bugger think I’ve missed Eiffel Tower tickets

V annoyed as travel has been booked for months. Now the ET only has tickets for 23:00 which is too late for the DC.

Are we doomed to spend hours queuing? Going in 2 weeks…

Just don’t do the Eiffel Tower?

You can see the ET from all over Paris and there are other places and buildings with great views.

Lots more $$ but you could book in with a private tour company or take a guided tour,

I thought that from now until mid May you could only turn up and buy tickets on the day? Is that because they’ve sold out? If assumed it was for another reason (renovations or something)!

Look for a bus tour of Paris that includes lunch in the tower. Bypass all the queues, have lovely lunch on the 2nd level, buy a ticket to the top from the restaurant.
Tour often includes a boat trip. Do that in the evening when all lit up.
Pick pockets are everywhere so be vigilant.

I think you can also climb the stairs a fair way up (not to the top but you still get an amazing view of the structure) without queuing for a lift ticket.

Or, just do the boat trip to see all the lights. There are other tall buildings that you can go into for free if you want the view.

Views from Sacré-Cœur, Galeries Lafayette, Pompidou Centre are good - in the past access to all has been free. I don’t know if there are any booking systems post Covid.

Have a look on Viator, they may have some.

Go to the top of Tour Montparnasse.

Great views including the ET.

Also a very nice restaurant (if your kids are of an age to enjoy that sort of thing).

You used to be able to go to the top of La Defense too, but not sure if that is still the case.
