Domestic flights - queues?

Hi. Does anyone know if the long queues to clear security are applying to domestic flights as well. Thanks

DD $ DH flew from London Stansted to Glasgow and back this week with no issues. Both airports busy obviously but flights were in time and getting through security etc wasn't an issue.

AFAIK and in my experience it's common screening, regardless of destination, to go airside at most if not all major UK airports so domestic flight or not won't make a difference to queuing.
