Hi we wanting a city break in Europe. Two adults, two teens. Two nights, Flying from North of England . Not horrifically expensive when there and not too close to Russia/Ukraine. Any recommendations?

Rome?

GucciBear · 09/04/2022 21:03

Barcelona. Rome. Florence. Madrid. Lisbon. Paris. All delightful but not sure about Covid restrictions with them.

Rome, Nice, Barcelona?

caulkheaded · 10/04/2022 09:28

Palma.

I’d also recommend watching Travel Man on c4 for some ideas - we did some trips following that because it impaired us so much

Reykjavik. Do the Golden Ring tour and explore the city. Easy from Manchester.

Hoppinggreen · 10/04/2022 09:45

Seville.

CuddlyCactus · 10/04/2022 09:49

Dublin, Paris, Amsterdam all great for teens

Oriunda · 10/04/2022 11:26

Are the teens vaccinated? If not, you need to factor lfts in to your planning if going to Italy, at least 2 lots.

Berlin was my favourite city break!

NalPolishRemover · 10/04/2022 12:24

We adore city breaks with dc who are now teens & over the years we've loved:
Prague
Budapest
Krakow
Gdansk
Venice
Paris
Florence
London
Dublin
Belfast
Galway
Liverpool
Berlin
Lisbon
Madrid
Brugges

SFisnotsimple · 10/04/2022 13:00

Don’t know about flights from North but we have enjoyed the following with teens:
Seville
Valencia
Alghero
Copenhagen
Stockholm
Tallinn

The best was St Petersburg but sadly that’s now out.

NalPolishRemover · 10/04/2022 13:05

@SFIsnotsimple I'm so jealous that you got to St Petersburg. It has been a long held dream of mine to travel from St Petersburg to Moscow by train. I fear it will now never be possible in my lifetime

TizerorFizz · 10/04/2022 13:55

@NalPolishRemover
St Petersburg is a massive loss to tourism. We too have done the train journey and I’ve been to St Petersburg twice. A highlight was the Faberge Collection. It’s a great loss.
