Family with 4 kids. Just want sunshine and a pool

Maybe somewhere like Playa Montroig resort. Some of the accommodation is quite dated, but there are newer ‘seaside villas’ which sleep 6. The pool complex is massive and there’s even a spa!

I'm finding Greece seems to be cheaper than most at the moment

Can I ask, do you need a car to travel around in the area? We are thinking of going this summer (will follow these suggestions!), but would prefer not to drive. We have 3 children aged 7-14 so just wondering how practical this would actually be. Thank you

Ideally second week in august.

Do you have your own transport/willing to hie some? You'll be able to get a villa in rural France with a pool for not too much (if you arent too fussy about style) but you'll need a car to get around.

You can also get a decent apartment in Croatia with pool access for about £1200 for the second week of August looking at VRBO. Not sure if that's the price range you were looking in but that gives you three bedrooms plus living space.

What's your budget ?
