Has anyone been to Orlando in February or April?

contemplating a holiday when we haven't had one for 11 years and have lots of question!

would be a once in a lifetime for us, so desperate to get it right

I can't stand the heat, but have school age kids, so have to NOT go in July/ August

any advice would be V. welcome!

February would be a great time to go for weather and busyness.

We were there this time last year and had a couple of cold days (eg needed thin fleece on top of t-shirt and long trousers) but very sunny still. The rest of the time it was comfortably hot.

I've been in March too (once at Easter when Disney was heaving and once not at Easter when Disney was empty) and the weather was hot both times.

Is anyonje els a bit at the flight prices to Florida at the mo???

Trying to get a flight so we can take advantage of the good villa deals due to the low dollar but the air fares are making us think twice !!

Any hints?

My DH is using his virgin airmiles to get us to Florida in March.

How about using Tesco clubcard vouchers (if you shop there enough), they do the brochures with virgin.

Stay in a villa, shop around for the best quote.

If you're not fussy and just want it clean, they come in at all budgets. Prices go up if you want the nicer things like a spa, larger pool, conservation views, south facing pool and so close the Disney you can see the fireworks.

I've just spent the last 5 days looking for the perfect villa, to meet all our requirements. Beware, if the advert says "private pool" that usually translates as "you'll be looking at a fence 2 ft from your pool for 2 weeks".

We did orlando last week of April and first week of May. it was perfect, although second week did tend to cloud over in the mid-afternoon with rain at tea time and overnight. Perfect for us though.

Just to add we've been in May it was fine went in June and rained every afternoon and In August last year the queues where horrendous compared to no queues in May and not having to fight for chairs at the waterparks never again.......we're going in October this year for a change...
