Stubborn DP won't go abroad

I need some advice on where to go on holiday this year.

I'm dying to go abroad but DP won't as DD 2 1/2yo is a nightmare at sleeping.

We went in a caravn to Haven last year for 4 days, we lasted 3 as we were on the bit where everyone walks past going to and from the main building, so DD slept very poorly.

Give me some persuaive techniques to use on DP, something I can brbie him with.

How about going to France and renting a farmhouse/gite (not sure if it is spelt correctly). My brother and children went a couple of years ago and had a fab time - there was even a pool.

Don't know about persuasive techniques as I just do whatever and DH just falls in with plans - he knows its for his own good!
