Hi Cappuccino. Have you thought about the Low Wood hotel on which is right on Lake Windermere. My sis stayed there a couple of months ago and said it was fab. It's got a pool too and I think they do some good special offers. It's always worth asking! There's loads of lovely things to do with the children up there and the lake is right on your doorstep.

Is Whoop Hall too expensive? (Kirkby Lonsdale)

Newby Bridge Hotel - special offer on Feb 8th??? Doesn't mention children though.

Regent Hotel, Ambleside has a Playstation and Gameboy

When do you want to go? (And what will be on the telly that night?)

Low Wood has a sister Hotel - the Waterhead in Ambleside. Think it's really close to the Low Wood and that you get to use all the facilities there - pool included! Again, my lucky sis stayed there last year and said it was fab. Her DD was 18 months at the time and everyone was lovely to her. www.greatlittleadventures.co.uk has info and also www.elh.co.uk
