can anyone recommend a good reasonable hotel in barcelona

DH and I are having our 1st weekend away since having the DS's, it is only friday to sunday so I guess we would be better to be pretty central . We are not going til late feb, but would like to get something booked.

The Meridian is perfect

We stayed in the Hotel Arts, Club class floor. Very pleasant indeed.

Although it was our H/Moon and I would have probably preferred that my DH had spent a little time researching quaint, romantic chic boutique style hotels than a 'play it safe expensive' but I am very difficut to please imho (in my HUSBAND'S opinion)
