Urgent passport please help!

My DH's has just realised his passport has expired. We're supposed to be travelling to Italy to see family on Saturday.
If we can't get an urgent passport I'll have to travel alone with 3 kids - one in a wheelchair.
I've looked at appointments online and there aren't any. Does anyone know if/when they release any more appointments?

Sorry to say that I don't think they do release more. Although I suppose there's a chance of someone cancelling an appointment and one therefore becoming available. I'd keep checking obsessively if it were me
