Impossible to contact emirates!?

I need to change the hotel we’ve booked for our holiday in November and I’m unable to do it online via their system as it says to call them.

I’ve spent 4 hours on hold to the contact centre today to be disconnected, I’ve contacted them via their WhatsApp, Facebook messenger and also the UK customer service email.

Any tips or recommendations!? I hate having things like this hanging over me and just want to confirm the change to another hotel available and be done with it!

I've always had success with their online chat function. Changing dates/destinations/seats of flights during covid though not hotels. It does take ages between responses but if you persevere you can get it all done that way without ever speaking to them on phone. And you do get a real person not a bot. Then they email all the confirmations of changes to the email used to make booking.

@anniewaits1 Any tips for getting a real person? I just keep getting the BOT who says they can’t help me and to call but to only call if I’m departing within 3 weeks!

They ask you to call them if you only want a hotel for part of your holiday so after trying twice and holding on for 2 hours I then emailed them. That was three months ago. Needless to say I have booked a £10k holiday with Trailfinders who are very responsive.

Just hopeless….

Are they based in the UAE?
Maybe try again in the morning because of the time difference
