Hi, I need some advice. Can anyone tell me if you need any holiday vaccinations when travelling to Barbados... I don't mean covid vaccines.
I have googled it but very mixed answers. I also have an appointment at a travel clinic but not for a few weeks.
Thank you

Looks like there's optional ones to have but none that are essential

We had typhoid injection but that was 20yrs ago. If you have booster within 12mnths you are covered for10yrs.

Also check the Government website in case visa rules or anything else has changed. This also has health advice and links to health websites which give information on recommended vaccinations and such like.

You don't need any that you wouldn't have had as standard. I.e no yellow fever or anything like that.
It's very safe and well developed you can drink the tap water etc, there is Dengue in the area but I have not heard reports of it being a particular problem to tourists it's normally in swamp areas etc. hope that helps.

No. But we are still wearing masks and practicing social distancing, sanitising hands on entry into public places, etc. So you are expected to comply.
