Apartment/villa recommendations in Portugal?

We want to go to Portugal this summer and would like a child friendly apartment or villa..........any ideas?

we stayed in Rocha Brava and had a lovely time....

Vilasol in Vilamoura have lovely apartments and villas.

Some of the apartments can be rented privately directly from the owners, which makes them a lot cheaper too.

That's brilliant - thanks for your advice. Do you have any specific details of those apartments? And how far were they from the beach?

They are about 10 mins from their private beach, with toys, play areas, etc., but they have lots of shuttle buses all day to take you there and back.

There are also villas and a hotel.
