October half term fun waterpark family holiday

Looking at Lalandia in Denmark as the cottages look quite appealing. Thinking 4- 5 nights. Is there anywhere similar, better value? Happy to self cater. Flight is short which is good. Not a family hotel room please- we need 2 bedrooms. Kids are pre teen age. Budget up to 2k all in. Flying from London. Thanks

There’s Tropical Islands in Germany, but not sure how prices compare

I was going to suggest tropical islands! It's great although I wouldnt spend a whole week there; maybe spend a day and night in Berlin also? There are Novalsol holiday cottages just outside the dome which are perfectly fine and you can often get a good deal including entry to the dome.

Duinrell just outside Amsterdam. Fab ! Book a Premium Duingalow. Theme park and water park. Near enough to Amsterdam for a visit for some culture.
We have been 5 times and usually go in October when the weather is lovely .
Do a search here and you will find threads about it.
Ignore recent TA reviews which are either about pandemic refunds or people who didn't book Premium accommodation ( some of teh older accommodations are grim ).

850 euro for the 5 person Duingalow 17th to 21st October . Theme park and water park are included . You can self cater / order pizza ( fab pizza delivery from Da Alfio ) , eat in the gorgeous village adjacent or eat on site .

We have been to Duinrell for October half term loads of times. Can't recommend it highly enough. So much to do on site but also the lovely town of Wassenaar is just a few minutes walk with lovely restaurants.

The first few times we stayed with Eurocamp but this year have booked a premium duingalow.. much more expensive but lots more space.

We go over on Eurotunnel but you can fly to Amsterdam or get the ferry from Harwich to Hook if Holland.

Yes Premium Duingalow is the way to go ! One of our favourite holidays . Going for years now . From when they were small to now teens . Still love it !
