just do it - they'll probably fall asleep on the plane!

hermykne · 06/01/2008 20:38

We normally book the later flights because the kids are knackered and don't protest too much/fall asleep, it works for us.

hermykne · 07/01/2008 20:09

WCL
going with the later one.
i think they ll cope, be in the taxi anyway about 6.30 so its not long really.once we re on the plane they ll sleep

good luck, we flew to cyprus at 9.50..it was hell on earth and i only have one 4yr old

Ds never sleeps on flights no matter how late. The first couple of times I figured that it would be better to fly back late as he'd fall asleep and I wouldn't have to entertain him but instead he didn't and I spent the whole time stressing about why he wouldn't sleep nad how grumpy he was going to be the next day. I'd go with the earlier choice unless your dcs tend to kip anywhere

Def in the afternoon. I find my 2 get overtired with all the stimulus of the airport etc and never sleep.

hermykne · 07/01/2008 21:24

i think they re in a good routine come evening they are tired and they happily/wearily sit on a bench in airport for a story ofr 2 while we wait for boarding.
dh thinks it ll be ok and its more for him than them as he ll be the one going oh we should have come home earlier!

Flight delays from Paris very common - I was on the 15:00 to London a few days ago and it was delayed
