Hi! We are planning to travel London to New Zealand with a 5 month baby and 4 Yr old daughter. Outgoing journey is 2 layovers (3 flights) and I'm wondering if its worth taking the stroller or just baby carrier (child will walk) - worried stroller won't make it in the various holds through 2 layovers and end up getting lost or something! Are prams necessary for long hauls or more hassle? Thanks x

Find out if you can take an umbrella buggy onboard, really could be helpful if layovers are at times the elder is sleepy. I always could when mine were small. You can also collect them at the aircraft door usually so it won't go astray

Thank you! It hadn't even occurred to me we could take it on the flight for overhead (if it fits/ airline allowed) just assumed it would be a no no. Will check! X
