Menorca - please tell me your favorite resort and holiday recommendations!

Dh and I have picked Menorca this year for our holiday but I have heard several people say they prefer different resorts. Can you tell me where your fav places were, we have 2 children aged 7 and 2 so we want somewhere thats got stuff to keep them busy!

We went last year, can't even remember the name of the resort, it couldn't have been that good!

Ooooo had a thought.... Cala n Forcat or something, was pretty poor in the sense of a family holiday, but the sea views were beautiful.

we stayed in Arenal D'en Castell with our lo who was 13 months at the time and we thought it was great. We went in June and temperature was just right. Had friends who went in October and it was freezing.

Cala n Bosch we have been twice, and with another couple last year. dh wont go again but I would.
We stayed at Viva Menorca (First Choice) apartments spotless, pool was well laid out, children were safe, first aid trained lifeguard at pool, great kids club for the days.
The town itself is lovely, lovely marina with great restsurants serving local produce (not your chips and egg crap) a few bars but not many and certainly not a resort for drinkers/teens/clubbers.
Its very family orientated without being trashy. I love it

we went to cala n forcat last year, not fab, couldn't get to the beach, am going to the other side of the island this year.

we have stayed in 2 places. sa caleta first time in sc apt with ds 10mo. 2nd time ds was almost 2 and resort was... erm... sorry can't remember! both resorts we stayed in were close to ciutedella as we loved visiting old town. neither time we required use of kids clubs, but both time we used holidays incovered site before we booked and found it very informative and helpful. i wouildn't hesitate to go bck for a family beach holiday - flight times and transfer times are idyllic.

dont know calan porter but we have been in May twice and the weather was fantastic
I'm so jealous would love to go back its a lovely island
