Caravan Park Novice

Looking at booking a week away in a static caravan but have never done this type of holiday before, maybe a silly question but can't find the answer on the park's website; if you choose a caravan that doesn't specify that it has a parking space where do you park?

Usually they have a car park next to the entertainment if the site has entertainment. there is usually parking next to the caravan (we own a static caravan that we rent out and when looking for caravans to buy they all had parking at numerous different sites) where are you looking to stay and I can have a look if we know any fellow owners who will have the answer :)

Lots of caravan parks do this. It's to keep the site safer for kids, and just quieter and nicer to be in.
There will be a car park close to the entrance where you can leave your car.

Haven- Littlesea, one of the Saver caravans. We will have 9mo DD with us so wondering if one with a dedicated space next to it would be better but from looking on the Haven site we'd be paying an extra £400 for the week for a caravan that is obviously higher spec overall but really just for the sake of us having a space

I wouldn't bother. You can usually drive in to take your luggage to the van, then you leave your car in the carpark. Same when you leave.

Thanks! It seems the website won't let me make an account anyway Confused

I stayed on a site like this last year. There was plenty of parking around the reception area and at the end of the rows of caravans. The only downside for me was that I arrived on my own quite late so all the nearby spaces were full and had to do trips back n forth with as much as I could carry at once. If there had been a few of us then I could have pulled up, turfed everything out and got others to carry it to the van while I went to park.
