Costa Rica, Mexico or Maldives - Feb 2023

Have a big birthday and am looking to have an amazing holiday. Will just be dp and I.

I acknowledge they are all very different holidays, but are all in bucket list and Rick main box of being hot in feb.

Like good hotels, food, wine, wandering, some activities but not full on adventure every day. Bit of luxury, and a “once in a life time” type holiday. Oh and ideally business class flight

Hard to choose! I love the Maldives it really is paradise but it's become so expensive over the last few years I'm starting to feel there are other options but without the 'Maldives' price tag.

I'd go for Costa Rica, Maldives, Mexico in that order.

If you know you'd be happy to never go back and it was once in a lifetime, the Maldives but go for more than a week but less than two if you get bored easily, there's literally nothing to do apart from snorkel, dive and enjoy the spa.

Costa Rica is at the top of the list I think as a “once” holiday, and yes, you could be right about getting bored in Maldives.

Time could be a factor, I’d want 2 weeks in Costa Rica, if we have less than that then Maldives could be a back up plan, although I’m thinking of booking flights soon
