Summer holiday with lame 80 year old & kids?!

Planning a week away with granny who has an arthritic knee & is pretty immobile, kids age 14, 11, and 7. Want a villa with a pool, a beach but also something for granny to do who will get bored on a beach but also can’t walk much. She likes history, culture etc. Being able to sit on a promenade with a coffee watching market life would be perfect for her. Any ideas?!

Look at Camping Bella Italia in Italy as it could be perfect for your situation. It had direct beach access and three are five large swimming pools with slides for both children and adults.
For your grandmother, there’s a little land train that runs regularly from the campsite into the local town, plus organised excursions that pick up from the campsite. There’s lots of evening entertainment including musicals and circus shows. There’s also a little onsite surgery with a doctor in attendance during certain hours.
There’s a good choice of different types of accommodation.
