DH 30th is approaching. I was going to book Vegas but decided it was too far and too long flights for only a few days ( leaving DC with grandparents )
We've done Paris and Amsterdam.
Neither of us big drinkers, would like somewhere with good nightlight i.e- circus shows etc not clubbing.
We would be going early July.
Recommendations gratefully received!

Berlin? You could go to a show at the Wintergarten.
If you like good food, I had the best meal of my life at the Lorenz Adlon Esszimmer.

Lyon if you like food. Bordeaux if you like wine.

San Sebastián or Madrid?
Sorry I kept hitting send too soon.

Alicante city, awesome, very Spanish, hardly any spoken English, very friendly people, great restaurants, marina, beach, shopping. Would recommend.

Seville or Granada for tapas and flamenco. Barcelona or Lisbon for people watching.

Marrakech, mooch around the markets and gardens, have a couple's hammam.

I think Cirque du Soleil is in Dublin early July. Dublin's good for a long weekend as there's lots to see and do without being restricted by language barriers.

If I could edit I would!
Look at Budva too. Probably better.

Granada .
Not into glib I g but lots of tapas , every bar practically does tapas with every drink, alcoholic or not. If you do drink they do a refreshing long drink which is effectively red wine and lemonade , Tinto de Verano . Lots of squares for people watching , good food and of course the Alhambra ( do book early and in advance though for tickets)
