easter and public holidays in barcelona

we have booked a holiday in Barcelona from 20 - 26 march, as this is the only time I can get off work.
BUT, it's Easter Weekend isn't it?!?!

Does anyone know what will be open and what is likely to be shut? Is it likely that ALL the museums and art galleries will be shut? we don't mind wandering and people watching etc, but I think ds will get bored of that (he will be 14 months).

DS has food allergies - are we likely to find a supermarket open, or should be bring our own food for him?

hi i live about 1hr south of barcelona, most shops will be open on the thursday and at least half day on the friday, should be open again sat morning. Good site for a listing of museums in barca is www.spain-barcelona.com ,i think quite a few of the museums will stay open at least part of the time over easter, parc guell will be a nice trip with lots for your lo to see and yourselves.
