Hotels near Eurotunnel Folkestone

Does anyone have any recommendations for hotels near Eurotinnel in Folkestone?

We will be driving to France on the first or second weeks of the school holidays and for our own peace of mind I reckon it will be easier to travel down the night before and then get an 8 or 9am train.

So wheres the best place to stay in a family room for an easy drive in the morning? Beyond the usual Premier inn or Travelodge is there anywhere you can recommend? Is Ashford better than Folkestone? Its likely to be a Saturday night so I was thinking maybe not a town centre hotel to avoid drunken wedding guests etc!

The Eureka leisure park at Ashford has a Premier Inn and a Travelodge plus cinema, bowling and all manner of places to eat. Then very easy to get to Eurotunnel. If you just want a stopover it's an easy bet as you don't have to worry about parking. Worth booking early though as it get booked up. Neither Folkestone nor Ashford are hotbeds of drunkeness though to be fair. Parking is more of an issue.

There's a massive Sainsbury across the way in case you forgot anything too. In pre-brexit days it was a wonderful place to stock up on things.
