We are going in 57 (count them 57 days), have some money already in Euros, and dh has some put away in the bank still to change up. It has been 3 years since the last time that we went and want to make sure that we have plenty of monet as I dont want to be telling ds's that they cant have things cos we are short of money (but at the same time wont be splashing cash on silly things).

We are going for 5 days (4 nights), 2 adults and 2 children, staying in santa fe (so breakfast included) so will have to buy lunch and dinner.

Cant remember but is there anywhere where we can buy fruit and other snacking stuff to be able to take into the park with us rather then pay their prices inside the park??

thanks

It is extortionate!!! At breakfast do what evryone else does and make up some ham rolls and wrap then in napkins for your lunch. If it's cold weather, you can supplement them with chips. Beware the fast food is disgusting!! We attempted to eat some and it was awful!! Evening meals are expensive - that's why we tried the fast food!! Cafe mickey is fantastic - expensive but well worth it as you get 100% character attention and the kids loved it. Food was best we had in park but you need to book. Rainforest cafe had gone downhil the last time we ate there and friends are just back who said he same. Toys etc are dear - dress up outfits are dea but we gave dcs some spending money and when it was gone, it was gone. There is a garage not far from your hotel where you can stock up on cheaper snack things but I took a load with me - drinks, cereal bars etc for kids to snack on. Buy your own wine too as dh poured me a glass from mini bar and it was about £15!!!!
Enjoy it it is fab!

We spent £700 last time we were there for a 5night break,we didn't go mad, only thing we splashed out on was cafe mickey and a couple of character photos, the rest went on food and drink.

take the train one stop to the Val D'Europe (sp) shopping centre - there is a supermarket for lots of goodies and a couple of restaurants (nothing exciting but way less expensive than at the parks and not much further away!)
