Hepatitis A booster or not

Went to Cuba 7 years ago and had the vaccine. Due to go to Barbados in May and trying to find out if it needs doing again. GP no longer does them and web advice is contradictory. Has anyone been in similar position?

Did you have the injection followed by a booster 6-12months later?
Initial injection covers you for one year. Initial injection plus booster is good for 25 years (according to Superdrug)

If you only had one injection, you need to start over.

Sorry, missed that.
It's recommended.

It's only a vaccine 'to consider' though. it's not one of the essential ones.
