Things to do in North France (Pas de Calais) with children?

We are going over for 4 days at the end of this month to visit our summer au pair and her family and have a couple of days to ourselves before we go to see her. We are arriving at Calais and staying in Lille and we will have our car. DD is 6 and DS is 3. Any suggestions what to do with them?

Bologne sur Mer (if thats how it is spelt) has a fantastic aquarium, we were told it was the biggest in France. It is about 30min drive from Calais.

Lille itself is a lovely city with parks, museums, cafes, Citadel etc to mosey round.

This is a really useful website with info about kids' activities in most regions of France.
