Has anyone been recently? The only threads I can find are years old and I'm now really undecided.

I will admit I haven’t been for years but I wouldn’t go again. There are much nicer places to stay in Greece - Sami, Kefalonia… Dassia, Corfu… those are my favourites.

Haven't been for 10 years but Nidri beach is my happy place.
Depends what you want though - there's nothing much "to do", but plenty of beaches.

I was there for a week in 2019 and I loved it. Stayed in a small family run hotel in Nidri, and would love to return some day!

I've been, and to many other Greek islands. I'd love to go back to Lefkada. It's gorgeous and not as touristy as the better known ones.

Go, you'll not regret it.
