Ubud with 10&14 year olds

We’re hopefully heading to Bali and Lombok for almost 4 weeks this summer. Has anyone been to Ubud with kids. We’ve got 6 nights booked for the beginning of the trip at Chapung Sebali and want to combine chilling by the pool with some sightseeing/waterfalls/temples. Any recommendations of things not to miss in Ubud and surrounding areas?

I went years ago pre kids - if the monkey forest is still there I’m sure they’d love it!

Planning a trip to Bali next year with, husband, 16 and 18 year old.

It was fantastic, this time last year we were in Amed snorkelling with turtles. The trip was really well balanced, from culture in Ubud, chilling in Gili T, sur lessons in Selong Belenak (Lombok) and a really local experience in Gili Gede. The weather was also perfect throughout.

Sounds amazing. How old were your kids and what were the highlights?
We spent some time in Bali 20 years ago, backpacking and pre kids, and they won't tolerate that type of trip...
