Is Crete really this cold?!

It’s way colder than London according to Google! I was thinking about taking my dc for a week over Easter. I’m not expecting it to be hot, in fact I’ve been looking for somewhere that won’t be hot enough for them to want to be in the pool the whole time as I’m a single parent and I find both them in the pool together for long periods stressful. 6yo still isn’t a particularly strong swimmer, 9yo is a very strong swimmer but 6yo tries to keep up and ends up out of his depth/ panicking etc.

2-10 degrees is pretty miserable for doing anything though. Is it really that cold? Why is it so cold?!

Which hotel in sorrento Erolthedragon?

Where is that from OP. It has to be wrong - there is no way average high temp for May is 15 for example. Could you be looking at sea temp by accident instead?

I've been to the Greek islands for Easter (Greek calendars Easter date's are sometimes different but I believe align this year with our calendar) and it's cool, not hot beach weather. It's nice, temperate, not as busy but not beach weather. Greek Easter is a very important holiday and everything is also closed FYI. That is only my experience of course.
