Would you go to a hotel that was 'predominantly german'

Have just seen a fab deal for a hotel in Ibiza this summer. Aparthotel looks lovely and has good reviews for cleanliness and location.

However 99% of the reviews mention the fact that it is predominantly german! That all entertainment is in german, food is german (although we would be self catering and eat out).

Now this wouldnt bother me but dh is saying no way and that it would be a nightmare!!! Are the old cliches about germans on holiday still true, as I pointed out to dh the last 3 holidays we've been on have included british people getting up at 6am to put their towels out and can be as rude as you like.

Opinions welcome, have you ever done this?

I went to an all German resort in Alcudia, Majorca a few years ago and I have to say (without being too offensive to any Germans I hope) that I would never do it again. I find the 'all British' resorts bad enough, to be honest, but at least there is some sort of cosy familiarity about (it if you like that sort of thing). The resort we stayed in was an eye-opener, and made me realise how ghastly the all-Brit resorts must seem to non-Brits. the food was all German (struggled to find tapas or anything Spanish), the entertainment was German (weird cabarets and one man bands...very odd), and to be rbutally honest, the German guests in our hotel were not in the least bit friendly (and that is putting it mildly). It really depend son the sort of holiday you want, I guess...

I have been to one - all inclusive in Carribean. Was fine on the whole.

The only thing that would put me off now is if you are eating there - all the food was mainly of a german nature and as a non-meat eater I struggled big time!

Have to say that I avoid places that have too many Brits there anyway, lol.

Not eating there as SC. So not a problem.

I'm just not sure its for us now, especially with the whole point of dd's holiday is to make lots of friends (normally by the end of the first day she has about 10)

CD those suites do look lovely but too small for us, we like a bit of a complex with lots of friends for dd and a nice bar to have a few beers in the night with some laughable entertainment

There is an all inclusive hotel attached too!
