We stayed once at Davy Crockett lodge in the mobile homes. It was cosy and great fun. Also stayed at the Pierre et Vacances hotel just outside the park which had just opened and was wonderful. Nowhere for 5 within the park.

Unless you could do two rooms with an adjoining internal door? We stayed at one of the park hotels and my mum had the room next to us.

Yes MaureenMLove that would be ideal = where did you stay. We don't mind staying off site.

I think it depends if you want to go on a package or do your own thing.
We went there in May with our touring caravan. We stayed in a caravan site about 20 minutes away, they also did mobile homes the same as davy crocket but cheaper, but not so Disneyish iykwim.
There are a few sites like that in the area, obviously you will have to self cater if you do that.
You would need to take your car though. However you can save tesco vouchers and they are worth 4 times their value and you can get a Eurotunnel train.
We also bought our Disney land ticket on the gate and found they are cheaper.
Also when we were there we were approached by Holiday inn (i think) who were doing appartment type accomodation nearby.
There is a lot of Travel lodge type hotels around there too and they probably do family rooms.

Newport Bay, its one of the Disney Hotels.

Like Welsh deb said you caould stay in a campsite nearby - iof you book with Camvas life you could stay in Les Etangs Fleuris 25 mins drive away (£495 in may h term for 4 for 1 week) inc ferry travel etc and best of all you could pay for it all with tesco vouchers (£125 worth of tesco vouchers) - would be same price for 3 kids as all kids go free. 2 bed mobile sleeps 6. Only need to pay for disney ticketsa and food would be cheaper. We'rethinking of doing this after 2 hols in Newport Bay
