Activity for the children that is , we parents are lazy. I've looked at Mark Warner, but the emphasis seems to be on child care and kids clubs. We don't need childcare and the boys won't do clubs but I think the idea of learning to sail or windsurf would appeal.

I don't know if PGL still do family holidays but we went on them as older kids/young teenagers and they were great family holidays - we made lifelong friends and so have my parents. We did loads of activities, they picked and chose and spent lots of time sitting around bbq's drinking if I remember correctly!

Yes PGL still do stuff for families, although we've not been - it looks really good.

I thought that my kids wouldn't do clubs until we went to Mark Warner!

The mornings are usually spent doing the water based activities that I'm sure your boys would love. You can check the board to see what's on and sign them in and out of the activities as you please.

The boys can also do these activities with you if they really don't fancy the club thing. Provided that you are with them they can take out a windsurfer, canoe, or dinghy or just muck about on the beach, use the pools, tennis courts etc.

The advantage to the clubs is that they offer an earlier childrens supper followed by activities until 20:30 which has to be more fun than supper with parents.

The evening thing is very laid back and when the activities finish most children come back to the restaurant area and find other children to play with within full view of you.

I've been to Lakitira and would recommend the activities there. Stay in the village rather than the hotel and you get a two storey house with two bathrooms.
