Did your dc use a bed on holiday and return happily to their cot once home?

It'd make life easier not trying to get a villa with a cot for next holiday, when dd will be about 2. From yout experience, do you think she'd reject her cot once home?

Would it matter if she rejected her cot once home? You could in fact get her moved in to her own bed before the holiday??

I don't know if it would matter. It might be preferable if she stayed if her cot as long as it was safe for her to do so.
