Would you just get another passport to be on the safe side?

My passport goes out of date next may. Expiry and issue date are both 23 may 2023.

I travel to Spain in June this year and return July. So I will have 10/11 months on my passport.

Would I still be allowed to travel on this passport or should I just renew to be on the safe side?

You only need 3 months for Spain so no I wouldn't renew early

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 10/02/2022 20:41

Its six months. You are well within that.

(Seems crazy just a few years ago I travelled abroad on a passport with days left on it. Then renewed it from overseas...)

dementedpixie · 10/02/2022 20:42

It's 3 months, not 6

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 10/02/2022 20:44

6 months, 3 months... still a lit less than a year. No country is asking for more than six though...

You will be fine.
