Would you just get another passport to be on the safe side?

My passport goes out of date next may. Expiry and issue date are both 23 may 2023.

I travel to Spain in June this year and return July. So I will have 10/11 months on my passport.

Would I still be allowed to travel on this passport or should I just renew to be on the safe side?

You only need 3 months for Spain so no I wouldn't renew early

Its six months. You are well within that.

(Seems crazy just a few years ago I travelled abroad on a passport with days left on it. Then renewed it from overseas...)

6 months, 3 months... still a lit less than a year. No country is asking for more than six though...

So long as it was issued Mat 2013, it will be absolutely fine, and no, I wouldnt replace it yet.
It needs to ge:
Less than 10 yrs old
Have 3 months validity
