Hi , we’re booking a weekend in Berlin in August
two adults one teen . Can anyone recommend a central hotel our budget is uk to £200 a night please

Can't necessarily recommend a hotel but I do recommend the area of Hackescher Markt - there's a nice eating out area away from the busy roads and you're right by the river.We didn't use transport as everywhere was walkable for us. DD was 16 when we went with her, she recently returned for weekend away with friends and they chose the same area.

I really like the Goodman's apart-hotel, cheaper than your budget but fantastic place. Hackescher Markt is nice area, but it's way touristy round there. Sort of depends what you like. www.booking.com/hotel/de/goodman-s-living.en-gb.html
