Is it warm enough to swim in a pool or the sea? Any experience in going at Easter?

I’ve been and it’s been mixed - some cooler rainy days and some lovely warm days, it’s not guaranteed, but neither are canaries

Thanks @HermioneWeasley. That is the dilemma. I've had appalling weather in the south of Spain in Easter too when it's been gorgeous in the UK. I guess you really need to go further afield to guarantee sun in April.

We went once for a week in April. The weather was warmish but the pools were heartstoppingly freezing.

I've been in the Antalya region a few times for Easter. Even when Easter is late, in mid-April, its too cold for outdoor pools unless they are heated and far too cold for the sea. Its lovely for sitting in the sun and being warm but not getting burnt though, its why I go Grin

If you want to go when its not hot, but warm enough for the sea, Sept/early Oct would be better.

I do Turkey in March most years. West of Antalya
As others say, yes, the odd day of rain and unpredictability
Great walking temperatures though
Cool in the evenings
Sea swimming I find ok (but then…….😊)

@FaoinDrualus sadly we're tied to school holidays, otherwise September would be perfect. Thanks @SynchroSwimmer, may be worth a punt with a heated pool.
