Types of test suitable for entry into the US

I am bamboozled. We need antigen tests to get into the US - but does it have to be a professionally done one or can it be a home test (the type where you upload results, rather than send them off)? Any advice appreciated

Professionally done, pcr or antigen taken the day before departure - per Virgin or cdc site.

It can be done at home but it must be supervised via Zoom etc. I use Qured for this - they're recommended by BA and they use tests approved by the US as well as UK.
