Where to go with just turned 12 year old

So we were planning Spain at the beginning of July, but as dd turns 12 the beginning of April she won't be double vaccinated in time (2nd vaccine has to be 14 days before we fly).
Is there anywhere cheap and cheerful that we can go in Europe with mout 12 year old being double vaccinated, or only very recently double vaccinated. Adults triple vaccinated, 15 year old will be double vaccinated. Greece? Portugal?

Watching as we are in exactly the same boat.

If you search for FCO entry requirements with the name of the country you will find the most up to date information for each country. Looks like both Greece and Portugal would be fine, but would need to test just before you go. Although it's changing all the time so no where is guaranteed. I do feel for you, it is rubbish for anyone with just turned 12 year olds.

I think they have just announced today that they are changing this rule

Wow, if true this would be so well timed for us. We booked a holiday before Spain introduced the vaccines requirements. One of ours turned 12 recently but also had covid just before so couldn't get their vaccines in time before we fly. We had about two weeks left before we needed to cancel and book something else. I have my fingers crossed!

Thanks all. Looks like the new rule would only apply if dd got covid. To the best of our knowledge she has never had covid. Greece and Portugal seem possible, but I think I may just leave it for another year. Seems like a just 12 year old this is the worse age to be for holidays atm

Cadiz? A City break but avoid the usual places we are sold and think outside the box as many places are fantastic but not sold by UK travel agents.
