Holiday resort ideas with 6 month old

Covid allowing, we'd like to try and take our baby on his first holiday abroad this summer. He'll be 6 - 9 months old.

I'm looking for something as a stress and hassle free as possible. I don't really know what I need to consider but I'm thinking things like resort transfers that provide a baby car seat, travel cot provided, somewhere to rent a buggy.

Any one got any recommendations or tips?

Caserio del Mirador in Spain. It’s run by a British couple who have their own kids and have thought of everything. We took DD when she was 8/9 months and it was great. All guests had babies/toddlers too.

If you go for a bigger resort then I suggest somewhere with buffet food as that is so much easier with an impatient baby. Also look for a gently shelving pool and plenty of shade.

Never seen buggy hire - I’d plan to take yours with. Travel cots are widely available but read reviews as sometimes the mattresses are terrible (the basic fold up one with no padding).

Neilson have buggies at their beach resorts and are generally very baby friendly. The holidays are pretty expensive these days though.

By the way IME it’s a lovely age to go on holiday with a baby!

I should add we don't want to drive so will need to be somewhere we could get to stuff on foot
