France - Tous Anti Covid App question

We're due to go skiing to France at Feb half term. Thankfully everyone vaxed and boosted as appropriate.

I thought i'd get ahead of the game and load everything up into the Tous Anti Covid app. But when I go into it it's asking for bluetooth enabled so it can do the ping thing if someone is close with covid. I'm a bit reluctant to enable that after all the horror stories I heard about neighbours getting pinged in UK from our app,but not sure if I have any choice.

Please can anyone who has been to France or has any knowledge advise.

You don't have to enable Bluetooth for it to work. They will just ask to scan your vax QR code in the app

Thanks @rocketfairy it seems to be a default action when I open the app though, I can't see how I can add the QR code without saying yes to blue tooth.

You have to switch bluetooth on when you first download the app but once you've put all your détails in you can switch it off in the app and leave it off.

My tous anti covid app shows my vaccine pass even when deactivated.

My Tous COVID thing is never activated. It always shows the vaccine pass though. You don’t need to have it on Bluetooth.
