AI Europe with two proper bedrooms

I am looking for the most elusive thing ever, an AI resort who offers a suite/apartement with two proper bedrooms, not a sofa bed. Or where you can book connecting rooms.
DD will be 15 in Summer and there is no way she will sleep comfortable on a sofa bed for two week.

We are fairly open to where to go, like to stay in Europe though. AI with a nice area to go out and also things to do around. Ideally not Canary Islands as we are going to Tenerife over Easter and have been to Lanzarote just before Covid.

Happy to pay for 4.5-5*

Hit me with your hidden gems please.

Hilton Dalaman in turkey has connecting rooms and is lovely, but will be red hot in august

reluctantbrit · 25/01/2022 21:34

DH is dead against Turkey, sorry.

Yes, it will be hot mostly everywhere but after 5 years of self catering in either Great Britain or Germany we are looking forward to doing nothing and had two planned holidays cancelled thanks to Covid.

The Duva in Puerto Pollensa has 2 bed apartments. On Jet2 you can filter by 2 beds in their search once you have narrowed to a resort, it took a while but there were a few there.

Takes a bit of searching but they are out there. Try looking for duplex apartments they often don’t show up on basic searches.

The best we've been to is the Aliathon in Paphos, Cyprus.
The Coma Gran in Sa Coma is another we really liked but it's been a long time since we were there but it might be worth a look.

We found one in Majorca through First choice holidays . I'm sorry I can't remember the name of the hotel though but it was a large family resort as we had three teenage boys to entertain so worth a look. I'll see if I can find it and come back if I do .

Cyprus - Columbia Beach Hotel, Amathus, Almyra

Ikos resorts

Honestly though, this is the sort of thing a good travel agent would be useful for. Let them do the hunting for you!

reluctantbrit · 26/01/2022 07:49

Thanks, will look them up.

Travel agents - two independent ones vanished last year, may see if there are any others around.

We're going to Portugal self catering. I have an adult and child DD and got 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which helps! I went with Onthebeach and they were far cheaper than Tui

Melia Tortuga in Cape Verde. 2 bedroom suites
There’s not an awful lot to do to be fair but our teens loved it.
We went at the end of August into September and it was bloody hot but the air con was good in all areas

reluctantbrit · 27/01/2022 13:41

@Funkyslippers we often do self catering but I am a bit fed up and don’t want an property with nothing else to do.
